little bear
whew.
just finished:
i made this bear for a friend as her birthday present. it took me a while (it is now belated), but i have to say i'm fairly satisfied with him. his nose is a bit rubbish, but i wasn't quite sure what to do with it. each part of his body started off as part of a pattern for a crocheted cat in one of my japanese knitting books, but the only things that actually stay with the pattern are his ears.
and i made his neck too long; it's a bit floppy. fortunately, tying a bow around it appears to have strengthened it considerably, an idea for which i thank my dear suitemate. :)
