Notes: Inspired by the blindfold activity in EHB that they never really showed *sadsad* A bit angsty, but not too much.
They blindfold them as part of their experiments and Hankyung bangs into Yehsung a million times, despite his position in the dance not anywhere near Yehsung. He knows it's Yehsung because of the small hand that grips his shoulder, trying to keep balance, and the brush of feather soft hair accompanied by the scent of coffee and strawberry shampoo stolen from Sungmin's collection of bathing accessories.
He laughs along with Yehsung, arm going around the smaller's waist, gripping it slightly and then letting go to find his place beside Heechul and Shiwon, Yehsung to Ryeowook. He would be beside Kyuhyun as well, if the boy had been healthy enough to appear in the show.
It's only after the show ends that they can be next to each other, on the long but short ride back home. In the car, they have no reason to hide who they'd rather be beside. Yehsung is quiet and holds Hankyung's hand contently as he looks out the window. Hankyung has his head on Yehsung's shoulder, eyes closed against the sounds of Donghae and Eunkyuk fighting in front and of Eeteuk trying to separate them.
They leave the comfort of each other only late at night, when the lights are out and the children are asleep and mom and dad don't care much for anything but one another. Hankyung lives close, but so far away and parting is such bitter sorrow.
Hankyung falls into his bed every night, exausted but feeling incomplete, lying instead of sleeping, wishing he could feel the solid warmth of Yehsung beside him. But his eyes become real blindfolds as he falls into restless slumber, dreaming of a world where he could be together with the one he truly loved.
