"I like your face." Kangin says randomly one day during the taping for their movie. Ryeowook blinked and then rolled his eyes. Not that anyone could see, since his face was covered by the panda mask that he was practically forced to wear because no one else would.
He didn't really mind it particularly, except that he was very very very HOT.
"Excuse me?" Ryeowook questions, not quite trusting his ears. Kangin was prone to saying things that didn't make any sense, but this was a bit to left field even for Kangin.
The older frowns and crosses his arms. "Don't make me repeat myself."
"Would you like to wear it instead?" Ryeowook suggested almost sarcastically, though his voice didn't include any. It was too soft-spoken for anything like that and his personality was far from insolent. But Kangin's face scrunched up as if Ryeowook had insulted him.
"Would you like me to ippon move you?" Kangin shot back, but Ryeowook knew he didn't mean it. Especially when arms opened and Ryeowook was allowed to snuggle into his hyungs arms, despite the unbearable heat and the itchy hair that was probably making Kangin regret his decision.
"You know, others might see," Ryeowook said, eyes closing and body relaxing. He missed this. Missed being able to curl up in caring arms. Sure, Yehsung made sure that he was properly cared for, but there was a difference between a lover's embrace and a mother's. Or even a father's, but Ryeowook didn't indulge in those very often. Except for now. "It'll ruin your reputation. Or something."
"Is there a problem with me hugging an overgrown panda?" Kangin questioned roughly, but no malice was in his voice. Ryeowook smiled, though no one could see.
"Some people would think it's weird," Ryeowook pointed out.
"They already think I'm weird. No difference." He felt more than saw Kangin shrug. "Besides. You looked like you needed a hug."
"How can I look like I need a hug when you can't even see my face?" Ryeowook questioned.
"Because I'm Kangin." Ryeowook laughed. "Hey! You have a problem with me being Kangin?"
"Not really." Ryeowook couldn't contain the grin in his voice.
"Good." Kangin didn't say anything for a moment, letting them just stand there in an embrace made awkward by a panda suit. "He's going to be fine. Both of them."
It didn't take a genius to figure out what that meant. There were only two people that weren't there. Two people missing in action and Ryeowook nodded his big panda head, wishing that his eyes didn't sting and just a little grateful of the mask covering his face.
"Of course they will be." If Kangin hyung said they'll be alright, the Ryeowook would trust him.
This one started off well, but ended somewhere that I didn't like. *shrugg* I think it might just be the prompt because KangWook is my guilty pleasure. They can be so cute together, wtfh
