Back again~=) I went out to the local Festival Du Voyageur last night with two of my best friends, we had an awesome time although we all came dangerously close to frostbite again;P There was lots of tasty food, like tourtiere, bannock, maple sugar pie, mini-donuts that just melt in your mouth....*drooling just thinking about it*XD Some cool bands, amazing snow sculptures (I really regret not bringing my camera>_<). And my hair and jacket smell like campfire now because we had to stand around one to keep warm (the festival is held in tents, which are heated, but still outside)...I love the smell of campfire:3 I feel more ready to face school again tomorrow, the sun is starting to get up earlier and I can feel spring whispering gently in my ear about the warmth and greenery that will soon sweep the groundX3 I'm ready for another step!^^
Today I have the translation of Heyx3 from the 18th=)
Just a caveat, I really don't know which host is which, so the names may be reversedXDD I just looked them up on google and there were no pics so...anyway, that's not what we're here for right?;P
Hitoshi: Yes~, it's Arashi~!
Hamada: So, Arashi.
Hitoshi: Arashi. It's really been a long time ne.
Hamada/Sho: That's right ne.
Hitoshi: They said that the members' clothing has changed. (writing)
Hamada: Oh my.
Jun: That's right.
Hitoshi: What's that about?
Jun: Um~, this is Ninomiya. Up until now I had the impression that he was perfectly happy with wearing the same clothing everyday.
(writing)
Hitoshi: He's worn the same thing?
Jun: He has. I've always had the impression of him wearing the same shirt, the same pants, but lately he's kind of been in skinny
pants and such... (writing)
Hamada: So he's kind of suddenly awoke to that?
Jun: He's kind of trying things like tucking them into his boots. (writing)
Hamada: I see, so he's kind of...being aware of the opposite sex? (writing)
Nino: Well, that's probably it ne. (writing) I'm already 24.
Hitoshi: That's right!
Nino: I've been playing games this whole time ne.
Hamada: It's a change huh.
Nino: So that's why I thought that I should at least challenge myself with the clothing I wear to work.
Aiba; But ne, the surprising thing about him is, his western-style clothing is good enough right? Well, since Arashi's all in the same
dressing room we change just like usual, so you can see everyone's panties too ne. (writing; ehh??XD) You cna see them ne. Even
though you don't want to see them, even though you don't want to see them you can. Even though I don't want to see them I can
see them, and the other day this guy had on terry-cloth ones... (writing) Underwear.
Hamada: That's not something you can really wear. (writing)
Nino: Because it's completely water-absorbent ne. (writing)
Hamada: You're young, but there can't be water leftover water in your bladder!! (writing)
Nino: There's other things like sweat ne. So that...
Hitoshi: What the heck is that? Well whatever. It says here 'finally made his debut as an artist'. (writing)
Jun: That's Riidaa.
Hamada: Ah, him ne?
Sho: He kind of put out an artbook, and he also has a solo exhibition. There he has decorated...figurines was it?
Ohno: Yes.
Sho: ...um, things he made, like paintings.
Hitoshi: It appears we have a picture of some of his works.
Hamada: Yeah, kind of ne, that artbook is fairly-
Hitoshi: Amazing.
Hamada: Amazing huh! I mean, if he really makes these... (writing)
Ohno: No, I said I did make them. (writing)
Hamada: What kind of image would you say this is...
Ohno: Well, at the beginning I was always drawing...I started wanting to make them more real, 3D. So then I made the figurines.
Hamada: These are figurines ne.
Sho: Amazing.
Nino: With these it's the hats, the hair, everything, he made it himself.
Hamada: Well, this ne...
Hitoshi: That's great!
Hamada: If they were capsule toys it would be like 'this again'~! (writing)
Hitoshi: Yeah huh.
Hamada: 'Again~'. You;'re always drawing these, it looks like you like black people ne.
Ohno: They just naturally turn into black people. (writing)
Hamada: Naturally...they naturally turn into black people?? Things really don't naturally turn into black people ne~. (writing)
Hitoshi: Ah, he gives a caricature as a present forthe member's birthdays. (writing)
Sho: We've gotten them from him too. Well, for Ninomiya it would be his 17th-
Nino: -when I was 17 he drew something that was like 'this is how 17 is', something like 'happy birthday'.
Sho: Me too, when I was 20 he gave me a present, he drew a picture for me. (writing) Right now that's...
Hitoshi: We have it?
Nino: it naturally turns out that way! It naturally turns out that way.
Sho: It has absolutely nothing to do with me ne! (writing)
Hitoshi: But it's amazing huh.
Hamada: This is...this is like 'become like this!' (writing) What is it indeed ne.
Sho: I have no idea what to do with it! (writing)
Hitoshi: he's really good huh. So, next is ne...'how's the culprit?!' is what it says. (writing)
Sho: Please listen to this. I got some time off at new year's, and went on a trip to India ne. So, well, it was about...4 days. So,
since we buy souvenirs for the other members when we go abroad I felt I had to buy some souvenirs for them. T-shirts and incense.
(writing)
Hamada: Ah, that's India-like ne.
Sho: So I gave it to them, but...about 2 days later - we were riding in a vehicle ne - it was just lying there. (writing)
Hitoshi: The present you'd given them.
Sho: I tried passing it out on set, but they were like 'this incense stinks like you wouldn't believe ne!'. This scent ne.
Hitoshi: They said it stinks like you wouldn't believe??
Jun: No, wrong, I'm sorry. It stank unbelievably badly! (writing) Really.
Hitoshi: He's telling you...
Hamada: Why did you buy something like that that nobody's interested in? (writing)
Sho: I bought it because I thought they'd be interested in it!
Hitoshi: Because you don't know until you try it ne.
Sho: But, because I didn't know if they'd like the incense I thought it would be better to buy t-shirts for them. So I at least wanted
them to take home the t-shirts, but the incense was placed neatly on top of the t-shirt and just left there where they'd been sitting.
Hitoshi: Ah, so just one person did that?
Sho: That's right.
Hitoshi: We have to find them huh.
Hamada: So, why~...why did you do that kind of thing Riidaa? (writing)
Hitoshi: Well, Riidaa doesn't buy his own clothes.
Hamada: Ah, is that so, then he'd use it.
Hitoshi: He'd definitely take it with him.
Hamada: People's feelings-
Hitoshi: It's definitely one of those two in the back there.
Nino: No, you're wrong, I'm telling you you're wrong.
Aiba: I took it home. I even washed it after I got home, cause I'd worn it once, and it got this small! (writing)
Hamada: Why?? It's because you put it in the dryer after you washed it.
Aiba: I always do the drying separately, but when the washing was done I took it out-
Nino: it had shrunk.
Aiba: That's right. So, since I felt it was kind of a waste I wore it, but when I wear it these (nipples) stick out! (writing)
Hitoshi: Just stick right out?
Aiba: That's right. So since they stick out, I'm very sorry to Sakurai-kun but-
Hitoshi: it looks like it's the truth, he brought it home.
Aiba: Of course.
Hitoshi: You brought it home ne. So this is...
Nino: I brought it home too, I mean, I wore it to rehearsal. This person saw it.
Jun: Ah, you wore it ne.
Sho: He did.
Hamada: Really?
Sho: There was a picture of a camel on it-
Nino: We had- we had a rehearsal for the new songs, so I wore it then...
Hitoshi: There's no doubt about that one.
Jun: Hey, wait a minute please! I'm telling you I took it home! (writing)
Hitoshi: You're a liar!
Jun: Then, then, please come to my place! I have it at my place. (writing)
Hamada: You're kind of just like them!
Hitoshi: There's only you left!
Jun: I'm telling you I have it! I really have it ne. I took home a white t-shirt. I have a white t-shirt.
Nino: What- what color did you give him?
Sho: Do you remember what you gave to who?
Jun: There was white, beige, and green ne?
Sho: Yes, yes, yes.
Jun: So I took a white one home.
Sho: Yes...
Jun: So the white one and the incense are both in my living room right now.
Sho: Yes...
Jun: I've made sure of it, I definitely took it home.
Sho: What color was the incense? (writing)
Jun: The color of the incense...?
Hamada: What, are you doing dream fortune-telling?! (writing) Dream fortune-telling...
Sho: I can remember the colors of the t-shirts, I just can't remember the color of the incense...
Nino: What was the incense?;P
Hamada: Excuse me, I know who the culprit is. (writing)
Hitoshi: Who is it?
Hamada: It's Riidaa after all! (writing) No matter how you think about it, it's Riidaa.
Hitoshi: You don't know?
Sho: I don't know...
Hamada: But well, whoever it is ne...
Sho: Well, that's right ne.
Hamada: Well, we can't think of it like this. Kind of ne... (writing)
Hitoshi: Having that kind of thing done to you ne...
Hamada: You got sad ne. (writing)
Hitoshi: Ne.
Sho: Ah, sorry.
Hitoshi: Here it says 'waking up early thanks to Miyagawa Daisuke-san!'. (writing)
Jun: That's me. Um~, we co-starred in a movie. Um, it's released in May and we were filming right up until the end of the year. I'm
fundamentally not very strong when it comes to mornings, I'm weak. So, I set an alarm clock and do various things. Well, so since
filming was for a period piece it was incredibly early in the morning- (writing)
Hikaru: Period piece... (writing) Sorry;P
Hamada: It's not 'Onihei'! It's not 'Onihei"! (writing)
Jun: It's not 'Onihei'. It's not 'Onihei'.
Hikaru: Um, will you have a topknot? (writing)
Jun: Ah, it's a shame, but I didn't have a topknot ne. (writing)
Hamada: She reacts to that! (writing)
Jun: It's no good if it's not a topknot?
Hikaru: If it was a topknot it would have been really hot ne. (writing)
Hamada: So, apparently Kuma appeared in that period piece ne. (writing)
Jun: He did ne. So, then...while everyone was filming it was around xmas, so we thought we'd have an xmas gift exchange. So at that time,
Miyagawa-san, um...it's a wristwatch. Um, you set the time...
Hitoshi: Ah, the one that really wakes you up?
Jun: That's right. Haven't you seen it on the late night mail order shows?
Hitoshi: Ah, I have, I have!
Jun: This is it! This here! (writing)
Hikaru: Ah, it's the one that figures out when you're not getting enough?
Jun: That's right.
Hitoshi: Eh, what do you mean?
Jun: You put this on your arm.
Hikaru: I was curious about this...
Jun: Kind of ne...you set the time- you set the alarm time. And apparently it tells you the time when your sleep is at it's lightest.
Hitoshi: So that's what it is. So that's why it's easy to wake up?
Jun: At that time the alarm goes off. So they say that since your sleep is light enough to easily hear the alarm you wake up refreshed.
Hamada: So then you fully woke up didn't you.
Jun: I fully woke up ne.
Hikaru: But, after all, don't you ever feel like 'I just want to sleep for another 10 minutes'? Not at all?
Jun: Well, but even if I were to sleep for another 10 minutes- leaving in the morning takes time right? But with this I'm refreshed-
why am I doing a mail order type speech? (writing)
Hitoshi: Ah, but it's amazing huh.
Jun: Amazing.
Hamada: Ah, I think it's amazing, I think it's amazing, but...the price... (writing) It's expensive right!
Jun: No~
[Announcer: We have a comment from Miyagawa Daisuke-san who gave him the highly efficient wristwatch! (writing)]
Daisuke: Hi there~! Eh Jun, my xmas present ne...truly thank you for using the wristwatch the won't fail to wake you that I gave you.
Well, the (movie's) filming was a lot of trouble, but...it's an event that left a deep impression ne. At about 3 days in (to
the filming), when I was still not getting along very well with Jun, I, um...when I got into the bath at the inn..um, Jun
came in and said 'Miyagawa-san, thanks for your hard work~'. Well I...honestly, well...my heart was beating really fast.
Hitoshi: That's really messed up.
Hamada: Cause it's for real!
Daisuke: I was thinking, 'I guess I'll take a look'...I was thinking I just take a look at Jun's, but seeing it...if I got uncomfortable
on the third day...and after that ne, it's not something to be doing in performance. So I thought to myself 'nope, better not'.
So, I thought I'd pretend to be normal. As I was thinking 'be normal, be normal' I got kind of panicky, so it got kind of
weird. Ne. So I thought 'this is bad', so I slipped out and said 'I'm going to leave ahead of you Jun'. If you want ne, Jun...
let's go to the baths again! Ne! Let's go to the baths! (writing) Ne.
Hamada: What was that? Because he himself is really that weird. So it would be better not to get into the bath with him. I asked him
about this story afterwards. He said his hear really was beating fast! (writing) So then he got out ahead of you, he got out
ahead of you right?
Jun: He did.
Hamada: After he got out apparently he was staring at your underwear in the changing room the whole time! (writing) That guy's messed up!
Jun: So you know that 'unmissable stories show, he's on that right? Since I've seen it before I kind of didn't want to go in with him.
There was only one bath, and since I really wanted to go right away and I knew that Miyagawa-san was in there I was thinking it
was going to be kind of unpleasant~...
Hamada: For this kind of thing ne, it's better to be candid than to be aloof huh.
Hitoshi: Well, that's right huh.
Jun: Yeah, so I just went in and said 'thanks for your hard work~'.
Hamada: You were probably candid, but the other guy's heart was racing ne. (writing)
Hitoshi: Ah, well said. So, ET-KING.
[writing: A question for Arashi from ET-KING]
ET-KING: So, you know how before a live performance there's that kind of thing where you put your hands together and do a cheer? We always
do that, at any rate, but I was wondering if you guys had an outrageous one... (writing)
Sho: Wait a minute please!;P Not at all!
Hamada: He keeps on being ridiculous huh~. (writing)
ET-KING: No no, not that. Always ne, Ito-King ne, will all on his own ne, come up with a completely nonsensical one going from the theme
of that day's tension. On top of which, it's a struggle for everyone just to get ihn sync with it...it's a feeling like we
can't even get into that level of spirit. Right now we're going to do the only one that we've ever done successfully. (writing)
Hamada: Ah, you're doing it?
ET-KING: There's one called the Korean version. (writing) Yes.
Ito-King: Kamusa, Kamusa, Kamusa, Kamusa Hamuni da~! (writing) That's how it goes.
ET-KING: Sit down!
Hitoshi: You're sitting down?
ET-KING: That's super-
Hamada: That was the good one, that's the good one?
Ito-King: Yes.
ET-KING: That was the successful one, I was just wondering if everyone had their own call.
Hitoshi: Before doing a live performance ne.
Sho: For our circles there's two patterns.
Nino: For concerts for the most part Matsumoto-kun will. (writing)
Hitoshi: So Riidaa...?
Hamada: What about Riidaa? (writing)
Nino: It's because Riidaa can't! (writing) Because he can't do it Matsumoto-kun does.
Hitoshi: Wait, you can't do it Riidaa??
Aiba: But Riidaa does it. When it's for TV Riidaa does it.
Nino: When it's for tv it's always Riidaa. Let's do the song show pattern. (writing)
Hitoshi: Yes yes yes.
Hamada: Riidaa's doing it ne, this is great ne.
Ohno: Alright.
Nino: Do your best.
Ohno: Okay, here we go, oh! (writing)
Nino: We have no idea why but this is how his tension is.
Ohno: This way everyone's together. If you do it with a really loud voice then the tension will run away on you. (writing) You bring
that part out in the real show.
Hamada: Riidaa, could you just be quiet? (writing) So it's Step and Go.
Arashi: Yes.
Hamada: What kind of song is it?
Sho: it's a refreshing song ne.
Jun: That's right ne.
Sho: it's a song where we've made the theme departing on a journey. Only, I was wondering if the 'step and go' was an idiom. They kind of
had me write the rap lyrics, and I often draw the message out of that kind of thingso I thought I should find out what the meaning
of those words was. So I put it in on an internet translation site, wondering what kind of meaning it would have in kanji.
Please step on me...and- and please go. (writing)
Hitoshi/Hamada: It's DoM! (meaning very masochistic)
Hitoshi: It's DoM!
Sho: it's a DoM song! (writing)
Hamada: That's right, I get the feeling I've said that in my sleep. (writing)
This episode is just packed with hilarity!XDD Aiba peeking at the other member's underwear in the dressing room, Nino in terry-cloth 'panties', Sho's present being re-gifted, Jun's new 'fan'XDDD And poor Ohno...it's like this show makes up for how dominating he is on utaban, cause he's so dominated here;P I lvoed how Jun was like 'come to my place!' when they accused him of being the re-gifterXDD Yes please!!X3 I wonder who it was though...;) Poor ShoXD Incense is a tough gift though^^; And, of course, Step and Go, the 'DoM' songXDD Haha, now I'm going to think of that every time I hear the song...;P I loved the performance too, the outfits were awesome and they seemed even more energetic than usual if that's possible:3
And I promised I'd post pics of the sushi/cupcake adventure my friend and I had;P
So, we kind of went 'no-plan'XDD She bought the green tea, and I bought a cake mix, and we just added green tea until it tasted about right...so this is what the raw cakes looked like;)
Yeah...they're green, although kind of brown at the bottom^^; Keep in mind we were making the sushi and cupcakes at the same time, so things got a little confusedXD Then, the icing was the same concept, green tea+icing;P But the icing was really really good, and it really makdes the cupcakes^^ The cupcakes themselves were good, not the best I've ever had...the cake part was kind of mild and faint in flavor:S Next time we're going to look up a real recipe and make them from scratch, then they'll for sure be delicious:D But the icing's a keeper...here's the finished product=)
Yummy~ I ate all mine already, I still have her share cause she keeps forgetting to bring me a containerXDD She should hurry up, cause they're tempting...;)
As for the sushi, we tried making california roll and teriyaki chicken roll^^ For the chicken one we just bought some forzen chicken strips and cooked them, sprinkled it with teriyaki sauce, a little mayo no the rice, some lettuce, and rolled it up=) The california was crab stick, mayo, and avocado, plus some sesame seeds for the outside;) Unfortunately, since I'd only ever done regular rolls my inside-out california kind of flopped...and then the knives weren't sharp enough so when we tried cutting the rolls they got destroyedXDDD As you can see...
Yes, you can laugh all yuo wnatXDD They're ridiculously ugly I know;P
But, astonishingly, that california roll was one of the best I've ever hadO_o It was delicious!! And the teriyaki chicken one was really good too, we both want to make sushi again soon cause it was so tasty and fun^^ And we both got a chance to kind of relax and just concentrate on something non-involving, we've both been udner a lot of stress lately so it was a good break. Baking therapy has always been my favoriteXDD
Well then, time to get ready for work and eat lunch...I cna't wait for my copy of Step and Go to arrive!>_< Why is yeasia so slow...:S I hope it stays on the charts for a long long time, I want to keep seeing their sales climb year after year:3 Take care everyone, hope the sun is shining where you areX3
