Off to Singapore!
Quick post - I'm just about done packing and will start driving to San Francisco in about an hour and a half (with a stop for breakfast at Shari's).
It's a fairly short trip - about 10 days (excluding the 2 days that I "lose" when flying there), but I'm looking forward to seeing my family again, and meeting up with friends.

- I thought I would take a nap since I didn't want to drive when tired, and woke up at 4:40. Oops. (I ended up leaving at 5, but fortunately I had already gotten everything packed)
- There was the most epic rain storm ever pretty much all the way into Vallejo. It made for fun driving :P
- Because I left at 5, I managed to get into the Bay Area at exactly the time everyone else started going to work.
- I got lost in Richmond (looking for gas) and Burlingame (drove past the exit for the off-airport long-term parking I'm using for this trip)
Fortunately, checkin and security were really quick, and now I'm just waiting to board the plane.
I get back on the 19th (via Hong Kong), and I would be up for hanging out the following weekend or whenever :)
