lol i HATE fish X'D but i basically only eat chicken anyway and then potates, rice, mashed potatoes.. well almost ANYTHING with it. but it HAS TO BE chicken :'--D and i've been trying to eat salad, but i just can't 8< i always take tomatoes and cucumbers etc out of the salad and just leave the lettuces :'D
I love seafood! But you should be careful, the amount of mercury found in tuna and other fish are steadily rising due to contamination, and it will do more harm to your body than good. If you eat too much, you might experience mercury toxicity.
A lot of other fish are high in mercury content too, I'm sure you can find a list of fish that are high in mercury somewhere online. Swordfish is one of the top ones with highest mercury content.
The Japanese live long because of their overall diet, low in cholesterol, and fats. They also get more physical exercise and many who are in their 80s and 90s are still out and about riding their bikes and working.
Actually a lot of their home cooked meals do not include fish. Things like miso soup, tofu, and vegetables are common.
Just be sure to eat healthy overall, and take everything in moderation. Choose things like unprocessed foods, and low fat foods. :)

But still I've heard the reason japanese live so long is because of all the seafood they eat D:
Is it only in tuna or other fish too?
