PS Also what one must accomplish in Seattle in order to shock.
I worked in Pioneer Square all summer and I never heard a single word from any of the dozens of people I met, there or elsewhere, about it being a bad area. During the daytime, it's impossible for it to be so - it's one of the hottest parts of the tourist scene. But I gather that at night it's rare for fully-toothed women to frequent the area. (?)
