Tonight I got off work early and went to industry happy hour at a local bar (restaurant peeps get $1 off all drinks all week all day!) while I waited for Iris to pick me up. Iris used to be a stripper, and now she works as a server with me at the PD. Her friend was DJing at a club later and he was spinning some awesome house and trance! But

Regardless, I won't tell him when I get my tattoo. But it's a huge step for me that I did something that my dad doesn't approve of and I don't give a shit.

What does "primitive" even mean in that context? I think maybe he'd like it better if he'd seen it before hearing about it; people have weird ideas about what a nose piercing means and often don't realize how tiny and dainty and barely noticeable they are.

Wait you got your nose pierced? That's awesome! I miss mine. I'm not sure I miss it enough to get it back, but I miss it.
