honestly, I'd have to say that it really clicked in winter drum line and marching band. I had always really liked singing, and music had (has) always been a constant in my life, because my dad was a musician at heart...just not so much in talent. hehe. But in chorus, there's more of a mentality that you do it, and then you're done with it. In high school, a lot of people take chorus for an easy A. But being in those instrumental groups...instrumentalists in high school tend to be a lot more passionate than singers, and I found that I really connected with those people who were passionate about music. I fit with them. Music just kind of...felt right.
