Rico leads May into one of many doors in the Nexus with a little spring in his step. Inside is a small room, decorated like a studio apartment and giving off comfy/relaxing vibes

Nervous? No nervousness here, no sir! That laugh May did let out right now? Not at all nervous.

"Just get me a coke," May shrugs. After what happened with Greed, she wasn't ready to try drinking again. The only thing that would make this more awkward was coughing up her drink.

Rico is a responsible friend and wouldn't dream of offering May something alcoholic. That being said, it's a good thing the fridge is only packing Coke right now. He tosses one over to her and pops open one himself. Also, if he notices the nervousness, he doesn't comment.

"So," he says cheerfully, taking a sip of his Caffeine-in-a-Can.

"So!" She looks down at her drink and laughs. "Now I feel like we should be toasting to this momentous occassion or something."

Okay, if he doesn't do something soon, she/he's going to. All this waiting is doing nothing for her nerves, she thinks, suddenly way too conscious of how much...bigger her hands are now, now that she's looking at them. Then she wonders if his are same size.

He laughs too, setting the soda on a table. Suddenly, he's a whole lot closer to May. "It's an idea," he says, smiling and taking one of May's hands. They're about the same size, and his feels cool around hers.
