Looking for a hang out spot!

Myself and my bestest girl will be going to Contempt on Saturday but will have some time to kill between the 04:00 kick out and our first train to Ossining at 06:20. Anyone got any suggestions for somewhere warm and laid-back to wait it out?

Either that or am I missing an obvious public transport option? My Google-Fu is failing me!

Considering this will be two non-local goths at 4am, is that safely walkable? I really don't know what NYC districts are like!

Yaffa is great although it may be packed. (Course any diner may be :P) The Lower East Side Coffee Shop tends to not be too overcrowded)

You might also check diners closer to Grand Central.
