PFLAG is the nation's foremost family-based organization committed to the civil rights of all gay men, lesbian women, bisexual and transgender persons everywhere. It's main focus is as a support group for parents (and other family members and friends) of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people understand and accept their children. They do this by sharing the stories of their own journeys to acceptance. Coming out is not an event but a process, and PFLAG eases the process by extending warm friendship and ending the isolation some parents, families and friends feel when they think there is no one who truly understands what an impact their child’s "coming out" has had on them.

So come spend a pleasant Sunday afternoon enjoying some good Italian food, some great and interesting company while also giving to a very worthy cause. And always remember, when you no longer need PFLAG - PFLAG needs you!Like these Events? Then please join the New York City Area Bisexual & Pansexual Meetup Group, Myspace Page and Facebook Page and don't forget to bookmark the NYC Tri-state region's Combined Calendar to keep up with all that is going on in YOUR Community.
