More Interviews!! WOOT!

Nov 07, 2004 22:40

OK, everyone, you know the drill by now, these things are flying around LJ.

You comment with a note saying, "Hey Viki! Interview me!" I respond asking you 5 questions. You answer those questions and then I'LL say, "Hey LJ User! Interview me!" Simple enough? Good deal.

1. Being an employee of the Tragic Kingdom, what's your favorite part of Disney World? [Ride, section, even a restaurant, doesn't matter.]
I’m a monorail girl at heart. It’s that anticipation you get riding the monorail, knowing your just moments from the Magic Kingdom, where it all started. Sure, down here you can hop between four different parks, go to Cirque du Soleil, go play at water parks…but there’s nothing like the Magic Kingdom, and there’s nothing quite like the monorail ride there. For a while I even wanted to hold my wedding on the monorail-came up with a way to make it logistically possible, too, except only 4 are allowed in the nose-me, groom, minister…hmm, need TWO witnesses!

2) You're stranded on a desert island, but fortunately, one of those handy-dandy people from "Lost" is there with you. Who would you want to be there?
I should say Jack because he’d probably keep me alive, but I think I’d bring Charlie because a) he’s cute and b) he’s funny. You NEED a sense of humor out there. With a bit of tragedy, always puts things in perspective.

3) If you could have any animal for a pet, what would you want and why?
I’d love to have a big cat…Siberian tiger or a lion maybe. Or a koala, if I’m dreaming exotic, here.

4) What song/poem/novel/story/whatever is the most inspirational to you?
It’s sad…the Debbie Gibson song Lost in Your Eyes. If I’m song writing or poetry writing I need only to turn that on and I’m set. Plus I have a beautiful dance for it that completely relaxes me. I also can read Nell by Jeanette Baker over and over and still get something new out of it.

5) If you could be any Disney princess, who would you be and why?
Belle, mainly because I’m so much like her already, and I completely know where she’s coming from. Plus she’s beautiful and still a very independent thinker. Of course, Ariel DID get the hotter prince...and Jasmine DOES have my tiger. *sigh* I still love Belle best.

1. Describe your perfect day.
Hard to say, I’m not a picky girl and I like lots of things-plus I’m very moody. I guess just about anything where I can relax. I’ve been working almost dead on since my freshman year of college and for once I’d just like a breather, maybe drive up to the mountains to someplace that accepts pets and just spend some time breathing in clean air with Madison and sitting next to a fire at night.

2. If you won the lottery, what would you do with your money?
Buy a house with tons of land…room for my dog rescue, and a separate section for the antisocial Maddie to roam and play. I’d also want an aviary. I’d get my Corvette, because every girl should have a sports car, but I’d also have my GMC Envoy XUV because my doggies won’t fit in my Corvette. My student loans would be paid off. I’d tell Disney to blow it up their asses and then go back to school. AFTER I buy premium annual passes for the whole family. I’d give Mom enough money to make her set for life, though she’d live with me in her own wing so she’d always be close. Then I would take her and my best friends and go stay at a suite at the Beach Club on the platinum plan at Disney! As you can see, I've put a lot of thought into it.

3. Three wishes- what are they?
I’d find someone who truly understood me and loved me just as I am (the release of Bridget Jones is near!!), I would wish for everything in number 2-well, to win the lottery, then and I’d wish for my grandmother to live long enough to see me be happy.

4. If you were President of the US for a month, what changes would you make?
Vote Viki, 2020. Anywho, Healthcare would be a requirement, not a choice for all employers. It shouldn’t be that hard for people to pay a premium each month to their employer and then get to visit a doctor. All schools would have fresh, up to date textbooks, an American flag in each classroom, and teachers with degrees who are paid well enough to care that they’re there. War? Please, I’d never have gotten us into the mess! I’d make stricter laws on child abuse and animal abuse, and I’d make you have to have a license to have children.

5. What is your fondest childhood memory?
I SHOULD say playing the Little Mermaid under my dining room table or telling ghost stories in Laura’s parents’ closet with flashlights... I think my fondest one though would just be my Mom tucking me in at night and laying in bed with me giving me cuddles, playing tickle-laugh, and hearing the stories of Cinderefella and Silver Waves. With her, I didn’t worry about needing a dad, or not having a grandpa.
