Food pic diary day 3

A day of far too much cheese at night. I've been eating quite a bit of cheese after bedtime on and off for the last week or so. It's as if I think I can treat tiredness with cheese.

Change: toast and milky drink just before bedtime. Then if the desire to over-eat strikes me, I will use various coping techniques. Tell myself that thoughts/feelings are separate from action. That I can desire to do a thing but refrain from doing a thing. That my difficult feelings are survivable. Keep a notebook by the bed with a list of coping skills in it.
