i live in boston and its awesome but it also sucks. there is so much great stuff to do, so many schools, but its one of the most expensive places to live. a two bedroom apartment goes for an average of $2000/month not including utilities.

but the T is great if you don't have/want a car. there are amazing museums, millions of coffee shops, just a lot of stuff to do.

Thank you; I'm also thinking of Gloucester and Rockport; it's where a lot of my dad's family is. It's all just so expensive. And I don't really want to have to deal with winter while she's so little. It might be something we come back to in a few years, when we both have RN's salaries to mess around with.

I hate cars. And the Children's museum!

Oh god! hahaha, those thoughts didn't go together, I was responding to
transportation, and then the museums that are available. I love the children's museum.
I need to practice English.

Seattle is good times. Great people, great public transit, the new light rail, clean city, Bellevue/Redmond is a great suburb, music and nightlife culture is fun, plenty of opportunities, great schools and colleges, The Teriyaki isn't made with ketchup, the ferry is a fun ride, got head on it once. Good bars, good coffee. 2 bedroom apartments in Bellevue/Redmond are around $1000 before utilities.

It's one of the more appealing choices since I know some people there already that could help during our set up phase.

Montreal, clearly, is the place to be.

Fantastic art and music scene, extensive metro through all of the major downtown areas, cheap housing, good food, good company, extremely enriching French culture, two great universities within walking distance of core downtown, etc. etc. etc.

That is more of the 5yr goal.
In order to be able to work in Canada and meet citizen requirements (I wrote requireship first, no lie.) we need to move up to the next level of education, it will definitely be on the table in a few years.

I miss you!
Send me an email sometime.

My vote is still on Tennessee because I know it's cheap, I know the weather is ideal, and I know I'll be there at some point. In fact, if you were to move to Knoxville, that would probably light the fire I need to get myself there as well.

If that's where we choose to go, you'll be welcome to step up with us while you figure out living/roommates/jobs because we're basically guaranteed positions whereever we go.
