Long story short, a friend of Christy's I hadn't met before contacted me and wanted to discuss homophobia and the ex-gay movement, and I was going to use him in a photo story I've been working on for the same issue...in talking to Christy, he decided not to work with me (I assume) and there's one less person I'll be able to work with (it's one of the pieces i'm considering displaying in the junior show for the fall). My personal life and my professional life have nothing to do with each other. This immaturity has past the point of ridiculous.

yeah, that is fucked up. i hate when people tend to cause chain reactions, especially when it ruins potential relations. Sometimes I think Cristy needs to watch what she says around certain people ...

There are no relations other than business that I was intending. Granted I never met the guy, and he contacted me first so, in the end, its water off a duck's back. Its just very hard to get people to open up about this issue when they've been through it; my photo ops have been few and far between for this concept. It's a set back, but not a crucial one. It's just the principle of the matter that gets under my skin.

That was a strange complicated situation with lots of rumors and whatnot. i dont know the truth, no one ever will, or if they do they may not believe it. I wont even pretend to know what happened last summer ( ... )
