I like this kind of ocean goddess imagery, and I love the swirl of waves, a la the icon on this entry... I like the idea of wings made of waves. Sadly, most of the pics I'm finding are anime, and that is like the opposite of my style. I like curves better than straight lines, and I'm a big fan of symetry.
