Michael Phelps
14 time Gold Medalist
Michael Phelps is designed to swim. His 6-foot-7-inch wingspan is three inches longer than his height, giving him an exceptional reach. He is able to ride high in the water thanks to his proportionally long torso and his flexible ankles and size-14 feet provide a formidable kick. Mix his swim specific body with strength training 3 times a week, plyometrics, and a high-intensity swim workout up to five hours a day and you’ve got the perfect recipe for one of the fastest swimmers and greatest Olympians of all time.
