Today I watched one of my best friends almost die. Like, seriously. He had a severe asthma attack while already having a lung infection. He collapsed and nearly went into a seizure in my car, trying to breathe. I rushed him to the ER, at some random hospital near wherever we were in the cities, and held his hand while they stuck him with needles

Yeah. I went home and cried my ass off. I've never actually watched someone I cared about nearly die. Strangers sure, but not someone who mattered.
