Well I did it. I wrote the letter. Its the most honest I've ever been with my dad. He will probably be angry at first, Im sure of it. Hopefully after the anger he will really understand what Im trying to accomplish with the letter. Honesty, respect and love. You cant have a relationship without those three things.

Ive had similar issues with my dad, and I think the urgency of a letter would stop him in his tracks and really make him consider what you're "saying." I'm sure he'll understand, or at least give the respect you deserve.
