I'm still struggling through Otherland. I like the story, but it's just so long. I'm on book 3 now, but that's a bit deceiving... there's really no break between the books, so I guess it would be more accurate to say I'm a little over halfway done with the story. I think I'd enjoy it more if I was devoting hours at a time to it. Trying to read ( Read more... )

there's also just a ton of pollen in the air... my nose and eyes and throat are going nuts too... and no downed trees! so you have a double whammy going on i think. feel better and have fun with saws.

I know what you mean about strugling with books. I got the first book of Chronicles of Blood and Stone as a a free E-Book from somewhere. I read it, and somewhat enjoyed it. Bought the 2nd and 3rd book to read. Finally got around to reading the 2nd, and didn't really enjoy it. Went ahead and read the 3rd one, since I had it, and wanted to finish the series. Of course what I didn't realize is taht there are books, not the three I had thought there was. I'm debating reading on in the series. I hate leaving a story line unfinished, but do I really want to read 3 more books?
