Tarot

I was looking for some painful artifacts for someone today, and managed to find not what they were looking for, but something I had thought I lost. My first tarot deck. I only have two decks, so it's not anything very exciting, but I hadn't read them in awhile, and in a fit of mysticism and strange beliefs decided to do it again. My two decks by ( Read more... )

Hm, maybe.. I don't know. She sniffed the air and started zooming around the house going buckwild and yowling.
I wonder if this is normal cat behavior? :D

I personally believe that if you have faith, then things will come to you sooner or later instead of you pursuing them. But who knows? Maybe trying will bring unexpected great outcomes.
By the way, your cat is just adorable, with extraordinarily pretty eyes too.

Thanks for the compliment to my kitten. :D
I'm sure she knows she's adorable. Most cats do.

And yeah, I've pretty much lived by the "things will come to you in time" theory, and it worked fine for awhile. I guess Fate, or whatever it's called, needs a nudge every so often.

Thanks for the comment! :)

first of all, very sweet looking cat. first time I see a cat eyes shining green. usually most cats eyes shine as red or bright yellow/silver.

Second, huh? Mythic Tarot ?!?!? Celtic Cross?!?!? Wow. Sorry, but this is totally new language to me. Is this a fortune telling card game? If so. Can you read mine? Just pretend I was there, and you pick the cards instead. Please, s'il vous plaît, por favor. :)

My cat's a demon. Which is why her eyes shine green. :D Not really, but she scratched me in the face last night, so I'm calling her a demon-cat.

The Mythic Tarot refers to the theme of the cards. Every tarot deck usually has some kind of theme that they use for the pictures or for telling the story of each card. For the Mythic Tarot, all the cards are assigned a character from ancient Greek Mythology, and using the stories of those characters, like Hermes and Athene, it helps illustrate the meaning of the cards.

Celtic Cross refers to the pattern in which you lay out the cards in order to read them.

It's not really a game, it's that traditional fortune telling method. But I'm not too serious about it. Kinda like reading your horoscope.

Anyway, as to whether I would be able to read yours. I don't know, I could try, but I think the person you're reading for has to either shuffle or just cut the deck. We'll see!
