Hey Gang,

This Thursday, at sevenish some of us are going to meet at Kettle of Fish on Christopher Street and Seventh Avenue South at sevenish. In addition to general conviviality, we plan to discuss whether and when the next NY MegaDopefest will occur and the planning for it.

Board meeting AND dress-down appointment (in which I will be dressed down, as opposed to being allowed to dress down), so yeah I'm thinking a beer or two might be in order.

But here's the thing about Kettle. It's become a huge Sox bar (Patrick is friends with someone at Riviera, which literally sells out for Sox playoff games -- velvet ropes, lines, the whole bit -- and he sends his overage over to Kettle). If the Red Sox fail to wrap it up tonight, there will be about 500 people in the joint by 8:00 Thursday.

So we may want to have a backup plan.

What's that bar Delphica likes on Washington Pl.? Will they be showing the game? I think our main goal should be to stay away from the TVs of the city.
