Tonks,
Ginny is doing alright. She had a bit of an accident at St. Mungo's. I'll let her tell you what happened when you come by for a visit. I'm sure she'd love to see you.
Didn't you two have plans for this weekend with her anyhow? I have to run that errand I told you about today, which I was going to cancel to take care of Ginny. But if you're coming over, could you maybe keep an eye on her? Help her with whatever she needs - that sort of thing? I'd appreciate it, Tonks.

Yes, we did- but I’ll know why she can’t make it- so I’ll just have to bring a picnic to her then, won’t I? Since you also need me to, uh…. Take care of the patient while you’re away. I’ll make sure she doesn’t decide to do any heavy lifting or….well… accident, that’s got me all worried now. She, she’s alright- right? Nothing…..well…. you know? Serious? Please prepare me before I come by- I’d not like to shock her with a reaction if something awful happened!! It’s not awful right???
YOU need to tell me she is ok!!! Cripes…
Don’t worry- I’ll be there Harry… what time are you heading out then?

She's alright, Tonks, really. She hit her head and was knocked unconscious for a few hours at the hospital. She was awake by the time I showed up to pick her up, so I don't think it was very long. Her right arm's in a cast from a hurt wrist. And she's a bit banged up. Otherwise, she's the same Ginny we all know and love. Thank, Merlin. If anything had happened to her, Tonks, I don't know what I would have...can't think about that.
She was working on the potions part of her exams and something happened to make the cauldron explode. Her injuries are from being knocked back from the explosion. It could have been worse, she was lucky. It could have been so much worse.
I think I'll be leaving early in the afternoon and hopefully won't be gone too long. I'll cut it short. Does that work for you? Around 11 or so.

Oh Gods, a head injury and an arm cast?! What the heck happened to cause all of that?!
Ok, ok- you say she’s alright, so I’ll believe you… I mean.. if anyone would know, it’s her promised groom to be, right? Heh! Ok… I’m heading out there at 11 on the dot!
It was nice to see you as well, 'Dora. Dancing with you was one of the more pleasant moments that afternoon.
Something happened to Ginny? No, I hadn't heard. What sort of "something"? If she's staying with Harry, I'm sure she'll be fine. He won't let anything happen to her. Hermione and Ron are there as well and it's probably just easier for her to be there than over the twins' shop if she requires any amount of convalescing. When you see her, please tell her I send my best and if there's anything I can do, please let me know. For either of you.

I can say the same, it was, well, wonderful really... Thank you, again.
Something happened at an exam I think, an accident... I'm getting full details from her this afternoon, and I promise to let her know you send your love and your helpful hands.
I know Harry will fuss over her better than I can- but I'm a woman with a mission, and he's not stopping me from seeing her, or dodging the annoying questions that will be issued when I get there.
I'll keep you posted if you like. You never answered my question though; do I have to barge over to see you too? And don't fib either- I want to make sure you are doing alright from time to time... even if it becomes bothersome.
An accident during her assessment exams? That doesn't sound right. What could happen in Healers' exams to cause an injury. Yes, please keep me informed.
Has anyone sent word to Severus yet? I think he was expecting to hear from her when her exams were completed.
Question? I missed have missed it. (Just teasing, 'Dora.) I'm fine, no fibbing. I think I may be getting a bit of cabin fever with so much blasted time on my hands now. But, mostly, things are better than I could have expected so soon after war's end.

I promise to let you know as soon as I talk to her, or Harry- or whoever will give me answers. I'm not rightly sure if Snape knows anything... I hardly know anything myself... nor did I know he wanted to hear from her.
Better than you could have expected, Remus? Well, then, that does sound positive... and I'm glad to hear you are fine. So much time? You are more than welcome to work my job for me if you want... it seems like I never have time....anymore.... oh bother. It is what it is.
Well, I'm glad of that too then. But sometimes I really do like 'being' a bother. Gives me a break from being bored. Hehee.
Actually, we seem to find ourselves off the registry again... Something about Harry's "future-in-laws"... I'm sure the world at large will thank the Minister for that. All that time cooped up in the flat, with nothing to do but invent stuff? I don't think the Ministry is ready for what we come up with when we get bored.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! We're off to the pub.

Apparantly, it was a side effect of Harry's request to have Ginny moved to 12 Grimmauld, during her week of recovery. We're not complaining... too much, at the moment.
We're going to the Leaky Cauldron when the shop closes. If you're there, we'll take you up on that drink.
