The structure known as The Brown Derby was built in Los Feliz in 1928 by Cecil B. Demille. It was a chicken dinner house for a bit then it became the first Brown Derby Cafe in Los Angeles in 1940. I've always loved the artwork in these Mexican adult comics. I could barely understand the stories, and that is probably why I didn't appreciate them as much as I should have. I actually like a lot of these... they look like those Interpol guys. Emo is actually way better than Electrocrap. I like Ladytron, they have an edge of both.

I stopped in the Burger King parking lot to smoke a clove... And I saw a truck from a landscaping company called "The Marquis de Sod". I don't know how I am going to stop laughing at this for the rest of the week.
