So one of the members at the golf course who is a regular in the noon game on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday was diagnosed with cancer a few months back. I haven't seen him in a month or so. I'm really sorry---I've heard a few stories of people losing loved ones for Christmas this year, on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day today, and it has put a lot of things in perspective for me. Talk about seriously unfair timing. My heart goes out to you and to his family and all who knew and loved him. It is never easy to lose someone you care about, but to do so at Christmastime is just not right. :(
