hmm although you bring up a good point I feel as though we are constantly (obviously not as bad as in 1984) being watched..and I think that on some level the government doesn't care about our actions and thoughts because they see the American people as uneducated to the truth. I mean really, I'm sure the majority knows as much as 1/1,000th of the truth. So they don't see us as a threat but at the same time you can compare it to having a cage full of lab mice and in the back of your head you know that they can one day bite your hand when your hand is inside the cage so every so often you show them whose boss and you give them a good slap or two. (Insert obscure metaphor into modern times and replace mice with humans
( ... )
The government, although is interested in its economy and its own wallet, in my opinion is more interested in keeping the truth from the American people because they feel as though the majority won't know what to do with the information...
where are you getting that from? and how were the people who spoke out against bush after 9/11 "shunned"? it just seems like you didnt hear from them just cause there was not much to say against bush then, or at least other things were more important, like thousands of people dying. he had the highest approval rating at that time in like history so there wasnt much "bush bashing" going on.
