I saw the oncologist last week. The tentative diagnosis is a form of uterine cancer called Adeno Sarcoma, which is somewhat rare and easily taken care of with a hysterectomy. They'll biopsy the uterus and take out a couple of lymph nodes just to be sure, and keep me under long enough to have the pathologist take a look to make sure there isn't ( Read more... )

You have the right attitude about all this. Things do work out the way they should in the long run. Try to think positive and get through the treatments and worry about the paying for it later. The worry just hinders your recovery at this point. Will be thinking about you and looking for updates. Glad to see you back in LJ btw.

A friend of mine has worked for them for about 5 years, and they are a fantastic company. Plus, you can work from home, which means you can work from anywhere, and even after your surgery you can get back to working sooner. I'm praying for you!!
