. . . but unfortunately I'm not quite quite feeling it.
Let's start out happy...
The Good:
- Today was the first day I "felt it" at track practice since last season. LIke yeah, I do know how to run, lol. We ran 7.5 miles today - only 6 guys went the full distance; of them, I finished 4th. Not bad for still my second week of practice....And I'll keep making sure I don't go too far and get hurt or anything.
- Had a hilarious speaker in Economics today - a stockbroker. Fun guy with lots of knowledge, I learned some, it was a nice way to end the day, for sure.
The Bad:
- Wasn't in the best mood today - not sure why; It wasn't exactly loneliness...just aggravated at different parts of the day at different things, but I guess that's any day, give or take. Then again perhaps it had to do something with "The Ugly"
Ugly:
- Hush Day: I'm sorry to be a party pooper - but this thing's a joke. I told a friend I wouldn't even bother playing, but yet then it still frustrated me today because of things. First off, I couldn't have any normal conversations - that's just retarded. And second, it's not any fun playing the game in years past because girls cheat. I'm not even saying about myself - as I stated, I wasn't trying. But I can't even count on my 2 hands the number of girls that should've "lost" their heart, only to keep it...and then PRETEND LIKE THEY ARE STILL PLAYING. It became almost laughable. Or they had to "keep it for their boyfriend" - that's fine; then don't talk. Or make them your own cut-out paper valentine for crying out loud - especially if they don't even attend SHS.
Alright end rant, lol
On some other notes....Today was payday - 70 something dollars....didn't get any hours from WD this week...kinda odd, because I only asked Sat. off, it was probably an honest error, that I could get corrected, but I think I'll just take the weekend off =)
Then there's the situation with the "WD Girl" - Some people know the situation, some don't. I just can't believe how I can have a "crush" on this girl....to the point where I walked in to pick up my paycheck from the counter where she was working, her "Hey, Phil" simply brightened my day - I mean the odds are pretty stacked against me, it's just funny that I actually care a little too much for my liking - then again I won't see her for a week....and there's plenty of reasons why it shouldn't work anyhow.
Now, I'm off to participate in my 2006 Valentine's Day Plans - a practice with my piano accompanist for Solo & Ensemble - I am too cool.
