What a Summer...and it's not over yet!

That's what a close friend said the other day, and I couldn't think of a better motto for this summer. It's been a truly great time with lots of different experiences. I've become close to a work family like I never thought possible....only to find I won't be able to come home to it, because they're closing my Winn-Dixie August 22....the owner of the land is selling the land to a developer wishing to build condos. Go figure =\

Hung out with the bros tonight (Brandon and Rob). We've become a tight Three Amigos that includes friendship bonds to die for...those guys are the absolute best, and it's been so great to be reunited the last 4 days. I love those guys to death. We hit up Seminole Hard Rock Casino Mon night (woo! I came out $20 ahead in slots =P), including an incredible prime rib dinner (just don't ask the cost, haha)...and out tonight to see Miami Vice and chill/eat...(that is, after Brandon's car overheated...and after he got meat in his glass at Applebee's embarassing himself in front of our pretty attractive waitress...hahahahaha).

Went to Adventure Island a couple weeks ago, was lots of fun, love the new ride Riptide.

Been hanging out with lots of different people, and sometimes I wish I had more time so I could just spread it all out, you all are so much fun....so many memories I've made this summer.

My digital camera's coming FedEx tomorrow, only $100, and it's pretty decent...I get my wisdom teeth out tomorrow at 11:15 in the morning, so probably will be out of touch through Sunday....last day at work is Aug.12....leave for UF Aug 19th...

While I'm not really that scared/nervous to go, I've just found such a niche and comfort zone around here...even better then I've ever had it. It'll be sad to see that go, and especially to say bye to all of my friends I've seen so much, and Rob going to NY...well, I guess I'll be earning some frequent flyer miles ;-).

It's been quite the reflective summer, discovering more of myself and all that hoopla that people say, but it's weird when you actually understand what they're talking about =)

And as I said, Some things never change...and sometimes, you find things out about the past that you never would've (but probably should've) guessed. While you can't change the past, and I try not to regret much, I can certainly take a stab at making the future great....and great is definitely my future's outlook.
