For those of you wondering about the power outage at NIN last night:

(The lighting you see in the emergency lighting. There was no power anywhere in the building. No air con etc. It was stinking hot. But I dont think they had anything to worry about in terms of the crowd getting out of hand, everyone seemed pretty calm.

My favourite part was going to the ladies room during the blackout, trying to navigate via emergency lighting and being startled by the 6'5" goth next to me screaming, 'wooo, it's like going camping!'

No encore was pretty bogus though.

Hahaha. Camping my ass, bitch. Try digging a hole and squatting in the dark while brandishing a stick to ward off the curious wallabies.

The no encore thing sucked. They did have it planned, obviously, but I think they played as late as they could without breaking the sound curfews.

no way! what a frustrating thing to happen! i was thinking of you all there last night whilst i was at billy talent and face to face...another awesome gig...
glad they managed to get it all back and running again in the end!
