Shrapnel in the back... OWE! Abrianna's okay! Yay! I loved Teyla trying to scold Tagan for screaming despite being on the floor, bleeding. Such a mother thing to do. And now John knows the kids are hers! Dun dun dun!! I can't wait to read how he's going to respond to that. If your earlier comment is anything to go by I'm guessing jealous rage at the thought that she'd had kids with someone else. Being as dense as he is, it may take some shaking to get his brain to clue in!

As for the evolution being more prominent in this piece - it's probably because it's longer. I always find the latter chapters come out far better than the first few. I don't know why but that's how it tends to go for me.
