So I just finished reading The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Holy moly is that a good book! Wanted to read it after seeing the movie, because I loved the movie. What's the premise of the books? I saw them on sale in HMV here, and I'm kind of jonesing for a good new read while i wait for the new Dresden Fles novel to come out in December...

Sadly, I went to check again on Amazon, and both Amazon and the Book Depository have slipped the advertised release date here to the 14th of Jan :( It was saying the 3rd of Dec as recently as Saturday, when I last checked.

Apparently no official release date yet. I find it interesting that is called Skin Job though. So it's about cylons? ;)

And there are four more books with the fifth coming in 2014. So lots more goodness for you to enjoy :) I also liked the author's Infernal Devices series.

I know! I'm working my way through the second right now. I'm really enjoying them. :)

The Infernal Devices... are those the ones that are almost a prequel? Like shadowhunters in historic London or something? It's good to know, because I might be finished the Mortal Instruments books quicker than I originally thought! ;)
