Goodness, definetly NOT what I was expecting. But that's good. A wonderful chapter, indeed! Plus, the anonymous response posted above my response contains a good question. I was wondering about that myself. Had they used a condom the first time? Or had they used one and you had just forgotten to include that detail? But then why did John ask her if she "was sure"? And also if they had used a condom, why had Teyla thought about the consequences if she were not going to get pregnant? Since she were not going to get pregnant (a result of using a condom)and since they intended to keep their relationship a secret, how would there be consequences? So they couldn't have used a condom. But then how did she not get pregnant!? She couldn't have gotten birth control pills from Dr. Beckett because, well...you know, so what happened!? Please answer before your two curious readers die from a, umm..."curiosity attack."

It's answered. I won't rewrite it, but you can see the post above. I wasn't trying for this to be some secretive plot point to pop up later. She isn't pregnant. (Though I do get how it can be read that way. Sorry for not clarifying.) John was 'asking' if she was sure because it would change things between them, not because of anything else.

Hope that clarifies!
