I think that was one of the best speeches I have ever heard. He nailed it on the head, and I echo you, amen.

Prop 8 Speech

I only have one question. Why wasn't that speech made BEFORE that lousy vote. Wonderful speech - but all we heard before was about how voting for Prop 8 would legalize teaching about gay activities in the schools. Something like this speech should have been heard loud and wide before the vote.
Speaks the shame-faced sister of one who voted for Prop 8 and whose nephew was on a street corner carrying signs for Prop 8. Ah well - she won't talk to me anyway. I'm beneath her.
