2 days and $220 later, we figure out the mobo itself was bad, and it was giving the error code that said bad gfx card. Kill me fucking now.

Now I have to mail the mobo back, wait for them to determine it's bad, then wait for the replacement to come back, and reinstall that. Until then, I have my old parts back in.

I got a dud. Fucking 2nd fucking day of having the goddamn parts and the vid card is dead. Fucking excellent too, cuz now the lan party's tomorrow and I've got no computer. Guess I'll just go see Peter Pan. Fuck it all and fuck XFX for producing something that'd die on the second day of operations.

I got paid finally, and ordered the first wave of parts for my new computer. Got one of two eventual video cards, a basic 64-bit processor, and a high-end motherboard.
