kinda bummed - talked to Jeanette this morning and if Jen goes to Kean, she's staying home :-( I think she should live there, especially now when the classes are easier and she needs to make friends. Jeanette got advice from another person she works with saying its better to stay on campus later like her 3rd or 4th year - not sure how that makes ( Read more... )

She should stay at school. It is a good growing experience, and I can teach her to ferret sit! :o)

i would suggest going away also; it's the one thing i regret about my education. i think it would have made me more tolerant in my marriage, honestly. i would have gotten all that cranky selfishness out of my system ( ... )

So hard --- I have enough trouble dealing with the car, the belly ring and college, sex would send me over the edge. The hardest part now is listening to my sister bitch --- not happy that Jen is becoming her own person - I want to keep reminding her how awful she was at 16! By 18 Jen was living with Jen's dad. PLEASE all Jen wants to do is go to the mall!

Only advice I can give Jen? Become who you Are - you can't spend your whole life trying to please others - its impossible. And, the quickest way to the therapists couch!

Guess that is why I feel really bad about her not going away - she will be getting bitched at by Jeanette until she leaves... I can't say anything because I know Jen - she can't lie she'll tell Jeanette I said so :-(

Sometimes I think this is harder to be an Aunt - our hands are tied and you know we know better than our sisters ;-)
