[SC11] An Ideal Picture

Summary: Heechul hates being lost as the next person, but he had to be paired up with the most annoyingly optimistic person there was.

Siwon took a deep breath as he threw up his arms in the air. "It's nice to be around nature, so peaceful and relaxing."
"Yes, because being in the middle of nowhere is completely enjoyable." Heechul responded sarcastically as he forced his way through the bushes and stumbled onto the ground.
"Heechul, we are not in the middle of nowhere, we are-"
"On top of a huge mountain with absolutely no idea where the trail is because you decided to detour and 'enjoy the sights'!" He accused angrily. "The town located nearby was just as good, just so you know."
"But look!" He pointed across the marvelous landscape. "Look at this precious earth, this creation-"
Heechul exaggeratedly sighed. "The fact that I'm stuck with you is not helping this matter whatsoever, your optimism is killing me." He got up and tried to walk away when he tripped over a branch. "Please tell me this is just some sick, twisted afterlife."
"We're stranded, not dead." Siwon said cheerfully. Heechul narrowed his eyes as he got back up and brushed himself off.
"One of us will be if you don't find a way out of here." He threatened, Siwon waved his arms around as he looked around.
"Lets just enjoy the scenery-"
"Yes, the scenery's still pretty even after the first twenty times you pointed it out, now lets leave." Heechul said irritably. They've been lost for hours now and he just really wanted to get back to a bed and see some sign of civilization.
"Lets go, I'm tired." Heechul stated. Siwon looked down sadly as he followed behind Heechul. Heechul stayed silent as Siwon repeatedly debated between opening and closing his mouth as he was completely unsure on how to start the conversation. He finally worked up the courage and opened his mouth again when Heechul tripped over another stump.
Siwon immediately reached out to help him as Heechul cried out in annoyance. Siwon asked calmly. "Want to sit somewhere?"
Heechul breathed in more nodding his head. Siwon led the way out of the trees and once again they reached a scenery from beyond the trees.
Siwon hurried to take out his camera from his bag, Heechul shook his head as he watched him take multiple snapshots.
"Breathtaking isn't it?" He asked out loud. Heechul glimpsed at the landscape, it was as if they were literally floating among the clouds. Heechul didn't dare comment but mentally agreed with him.
They both settled down on the grass, Heechul flipped the hair out of his eyes as he leaned back slightly. Siwon looked off and smiled. "It's nice being away from it all isn't it?"
"Mm?" Heechul closed his eyes.
He felt his hand being covered but he didn't react.
"I think its nice at least." Siwon murmured, Heechul noted the tone in his voice and sighed.
"If you like me, just admit it already." Heechul stated, Siwon dramatically widened his eyes and pulled away his hand from Heechul's. Heechul opened one of his eyes. "Don't act so surprised."
"But h-how did you know?" He stuttered out.
Heechul scoffed. "It's obvious how you feel about me, I'm not as dense as you are. It helps that you are also the most readable person I know."
Siwon gaped.
"You look less attractive when you do that." Siwon immediately closed his mouth. "You really do like me then." He reasoned.
Siwon dropped his hands. "Wait, you didn't know?"
"Well, I was more than sure but you never know. But at least you proved me right." He smirked. "And to answer your question, you're absolutely right."
Siwon tilted his head and furrowed his eyebrows, he placed his hand under his chin in thought. When Heechul suddenly leaned in and pecked his cheek. He smiled triumphantly when Siwon did a double-take. Heechul suddenly grabbed Siwon's camera from his hands and took a picture of his shocked expression.
"Now that's how you take a picture."

A/N: Wanted to say thanks for all the comments from the previous one-shots. ^^ I've been having fun with these challenges so far, and though yesterday's and todays' were both late considering my prompt maker is not available atm (T.T).
When she said mountains, I couldn't help but think of this picture I once took. Hope it helps to picture the scene a bit better ^^.
