Yesung enters his home and pauses in the doorway. He sees Kyuhyun slumped on the floor surrounded by shoes, keys on hand and already dressed for heading out, head against his palm in the most dejected manner.
“What’s wrong?” Yesung prompts with a bag on hand. He receives no answer and Yesung sighs, “Kyuhyun, just because I can see the future doesn’t mean you stop answering when I ask.”
“Or does it?”
“Kyuhyun,” Yesung said firmly. Kyuhyun heavily sighed.
“What’s the point of getting you a gift? Not like you don’t already know what it is.” Kyuhyun mumbles.
Yesung tilts his head and smiles, Kyuhyun dejectedly averts his eyes.
“I see,” Yesung murmurs and sets down his bags, closing the door behind him. He crosses his arms and tries to catch Kyuhyun’s eye but the other keeps looking away.
And when Yesung grabs his chin and makes him look at him, Kyuhyun stubbornly closes his eyes.
“Brat,” Yesung says and Kyuhyun just scoffs. The fortune teller then leans in and forces their foreheads together.
“How am I going to be happy if I don’t get it?” Yesung encourages.
Kyuhyun tries not to think it over, he’s made up his mind.
It’s why Kyuhyun keeps his eyes close, and continues to tell himself don’t give in, don’t give in. Yet his eyes betray him and sneaks a tiny peek at the other. He loses his frown.
At Yesung’s sweet smile, Kyuhyun’s calmer expression then turned to a cold stare.
“...You knew that was going to work on me, didn’t you?”
“Will you just go!”
