Monsieur Cagliostro Rider-Waite

Hee!

We're not meant to be afraid to look, either, Moony.

Oh, nice. Excellent turn of phrase.

Do I sense a touch of Zelazny in this? If you have no clue what I'm getting at, read Nine Princes in Amber. The first chapter or two should do it.

Oh, sorry, I'm afraid I'm not very familiar with Zelazny. "Nine Princes in Amber", you say? I'll certainly look into it. Thanks!

You should appreciate my surprise at the similarities between the two scenes where, alternately, Sirius discovers the tarot deck and Corwin discovers the tarot deck. Granted, Corwin was a little more purposeful about the discovery, and Sirius' was more by chance, but still... very similar. I'm pretty sure it's within the first chapter, maybe the first two, after he arrives at... Flavia's (?) house. I haven't read it in about fifteen years, so the details are a little fuzzy. Good series, though, I highly recommend it.

I've been so looking forward to reading this! It's really engaging. I love all the details, and Sirius being sarcastic. The dialogue is excellent.
