Hmmm. I've been seeing this meme around and have really enjoyed reading what some of my favorite authors have to say about their writing and their processes - the details have been fascinating and the frankness has been admirable. Thanks for mentioning this earlier; it was long lost on my friends list while I was off frolicking with the Amish! Best of all, it gave me a good excuse to re-read "The Effigy" and "Curing the Potion", which is why I’m leaving this comment so late at night! ;)
Your prose is gorgeous; poetic, colorful, full of life and rhythm. Even sentences you deem "convoluted" are still a pleasure to read. And while I agree with you that your sex scenes are often very cerebral, that's also the reason you’re always having feedback about how hot those sequences are! No "insert pointy bit A into orifice B" from you, ma’am!
And you know how much I treasure how we all work, sending drafts and brainstorming and chatting it out. I wouldn’t have it any other way, and I promise to "put up with you" *snerk* for as long as you’ll have me!

Thanks for commenting to this post - wow, I felt uncomfortable doing it! And all those wonderful things you've said about my fic - you do know how much you contribute to all that, don't you? I hope you do.
Also, all the brainstorming and chatting it out - I love working that way myself. Not only does it improve the fic, it SO enriches the pleasure of this odd little hobby we all have. LOL! Can't beat it with a stick!
