Although I would like to be a member of AAAAA (the Association for the Abolition of Asinine Acronyms and Abreviations), so I can't really support GAAH. *g*
We at GAAH fully sympathize with and support the sincere (if severely misguided) aims of AAAAA, even if you cannot, at this time, support us. Thank you for your interest, and we've put you on the BADDOG Holiday mailing list. ;)
I have formed a breakaway splinter group of AAAAA, the Alliance Accepting Amusing Abreviations and Acronyms (AAAAA), unfortunately this hasn't given me any insight into niche markets for Black Family related organisations.
Good thing that fandom's here. I knew we fulfilled some greater purpose. *smile* Plus thanks for reccing Moondagny's piece, by the way. I'm about to read it. She doesn't seem to post everything on her journal, which means I miss things. M.
I don't know of any ex-Black associations, but there's a federation that's happy to lend any support it can to all outcasts and pariahs: W.A.S.S.A.I.L., or the Werewolf Activism Support & Snausages Action Interest League.

Glad you like IHET, they do a lot of good. They have a lovely bi-annual Seasonal Ball with a strict NO Dating policy.
