She's desperate, remember? She -knows- all of these "qualities" are negative, but she still wants to go after him because "he is the only thing going" for her right now, in terms of her love life. We spent almost over an hour, with me repeating myself going "yeah, that's not good", "that's terrible!" "he's a bad person" "he's bad news" "that's not a good thing at all" "don't get drunk around him ever again" "you really -really- need to acknowledge these negative points and GET OVER HIM". Seriously, all her friends dislike him and the first time I met him, I had the urge to just punch him.

haha I totally agree! Love is undefined at best, I think. Hard to tell when you are in love, after all. Dunno if you ever will know for sure. haha
