CFTC DVD Spoilers - The boys are together!
CFTC DVD SPOILERS - note there really isn’t much of CFTC I & II for some reason - mainly I can say is it’s Vegas (3) and Orlando (4) but they did put in Miami (5)
but it is ALMOST 3 hours of stuff!
CFTC III GAME - Vegas
It’s about 45 minutes - most of the whole game including all the infamous CHEATING that goes on. It shows all the 4 quarters and does “REPLAY” on highlights and “TIME OUTS” consist of different Celebs commenting on the game and CFTC all together. It’s great remembering back to all of this.
The best part is if there is a Foul - a Joey in a Sumo Suit goes bopping across the screen or Lance on the tricyle goes across the screen. If it’s a Time out - Justin dunking flies across the screen. Lots of Ju/Britney moments. Tom Arnold announces.
The best is JC’s Stategey is “To Win. If they (the other team) starts to win, KILL THEM” LOL
During one of the Time outs, Johnny Wright is asked to discuss each NSYNC member’s playing ability, he says:
JC - talks about how he is a good dribbler, ball handler
Joey “NEXT”
Lance “NEXT PLEASE!”
Chris - talks good things about his bball skills
JT - of course talks highly of his bball skills
But him talking about not wanting to talk about Joey and Lance is quiet funny!
There is also a point where the five guys sit together where they do commentary etc and discuss CFTC. At the end of this Justin says about how the next year “not too toot his own horn” he did much better and Scored 75 points on 3 - 25 point shots (refering to Orlando CFTC) and Lance looks over and goes “AND YOU STILL LOST THE GAME?” - Absolutely hysterical”
CFTC IV GAME - Orlando
I didn’t get to watch but I’m sure it’s the same as III but Orlando’s game.
this part is not a lot of vocals - it’s images and video with music over it. About 5 minutes maybe?
The HIGHLIGHTS are:
Vegas Skills - LANCE in the Dunk Tank!
Joey in the Sumo wrestling
Chris’s arm in a cast
The multi layered clothes race.
The Tricycle race!
Orlando Skills - Alfonso Ribiero doing his “Carlton Dance” at half court and JC cracking up.
The BASSTRONAUT doll somebody made and Justin sitting and pretending to talk to it and Donald Faison and Anthony Edwards talking to it going “We miss you Lance, come home safely”
Also at one point OLD SKOOL FOOTAGE. Chris, JC and Joey are putting their noses and faces into the camera lense - JC’s got the Short Hair!!
This part is LONG and great. All five guys are sitting together to discuss why they started CFTC what it’s about, etc. Lance is talking a lot here. Then it’s to THE CLIPS:

Then it’s THE KNIGHTS - 3 windows on the screen showing introductions of celebs
Mainly it’s Pat Obrien doing the announcements from Orlando Challenge and in small window 1 it’s the player intros at Vegas and small window 2 is Miami
When the get to Chris = the Miami Screen shows the Mini Chris Guy!!
When the DAZE are introduced they of course show JT, JC gets shown here (and all sunburnt at Miami - they show the skills beach intros)
but since it’s mainly from Orlando intros
BUT THEY FORGET TO SHOW ANY INTRODUCTIONS FOR LANCE!!!!!!!!!! Grrr.
then there is the Slam Dunk Contest from Vegas - and Joey loosing his pants
There is an INSET at the bottom of the screen of the guys watching the clips commentating - very funny
The it’s MIAMI 2003
Melinda is talking about how the guys said they wanted to go to South Beach and she “freaked out” and how she had to get turtle wranglers because it was turtle mating season and they come up on the beach and the guys wanted stuff on the beach and how they had to build the whole set up on the beach starting on Monday before.
Then of course LANCE IN THE POOL
Joey running with the watermelon and TONS of MIAMI Skills stuff.
The Tug of War
The Dance off between Donald Faison and Alfonso Ribiero and the best part of Miami besides JC eating the peach …
The DAZE ALL DOING THE “CARLTON DANCE” including Justin and Lance doing this and Alfonso Ribiero leading the whole team in the “dance”
Then they show the OBSTACLE COURSE ’01 - JUSTIN VS LANCE and the Knights try to CHEAT and make Lance loose when he was beating Justin/.
ORLANDO OBSTACLE COURSE - everyone shouting “JC JC JC” and Joey vs JC in the Blow Up obstacle course and JC (in the inset) going “ I got beat by Joey”

then it’s on to the 3 Point Shootout from Orlando and Justin Vs Brian McKnight’s 14 basket shootout

Joey holding up the Lance Astronaut doll and pretending to be Lance talking
There is also clips of the Dance contest with the little kids from Orlando and all the players dancing up on the one mom that danced.
And JC the HUMAN BOWLING BALL with JC commentary before he gets strapped in!
And tons of other Fun stuff
Even at the end they show Parties from Sunday night - not really inside but everyone talking about all of CFTC.
The 5 of them Sitting together comment was great - but Chris didn’t say much if anything at all -very much as his personality was that weekend - very not Chris.
