okay. I need some advice on keeping my 2.5 year old Lily in bed. I have tried her in her big bed, but she won't stay still ,and just gets up and bangs on the door, jumps on the bed and plays. What I did with Taylor, was I put him in a wrap for the big bed. He was a bit upset at first with it, but then after a few nights he loved it and was really upset to see it go in the end! :) I did the wrap more cause I was scared he was going to fall out, but I also had trouble with him staying in bed and as he was shareing a room with another baby, to me it was the best idea :) Good luck :)

Thanks :) I never wrapped Lily as a baby, so I think if I tried that now, she'd freak. I have one of those side barrier things to go on her bed, I'm not so much scared of her falling out, but I don't know how to keep her in there, without tieing her down ;). She's also really big , so it would be hard to wrap her. I dunno, I'm confused. Thanks though!

I didn't wrap Tay as a baby either, and he just saw it more as security blanket thing. It was definitly big for him, as he's a big boy - fathers genes and all. But it worked for me :)

Have a chat to her and tell her if she doesn't stay in her new really cool cool bed you put the cot back in her room next to the bed, and then try again in a week or so. In the week the bed is away tell her how much the big bed is so much better than this boring old cot etc.
Maybe buy a fluffy new pink blanket as a treat, good luck.
