So it's all over, I'm officially a high school graduate. It still doesn't feel real, like its all really over. I'm just waiting for the moment when it finally sinks in that its over but I'm not sure when that'll be

Congratulations on graduating! :D I know I didn't feel like high school was over until I went back to visit 6 months later, haha
I am dying to see Airbender, but in all honesty, I'm expecting to to be bad... I love the show, but M. Night Shamalan has never made a movie where I haven't laughed through the whole thing (...that isn't a good thing, considering I think he's only ever done drama/horror movies...), and his messing with the races of the characters really bugs me... (Fire nation, obviously Chinese in the show, he decided to make Indian. And Aang is now white..? Er...) Of course I wish that it'll do justice for the show, I'm just not really anticipating it.
I'm hopeful despite myself, partially because I never watch horror so I have no experience with Shamalan's movies. I try to avoid the whole race bending controversy (I like to pretend fandom is exactly how I thought it was when I first entered; shiny and happy and perfect.) Sure I'm not entirely happy with the casting but at this point what can you do.
I suppose I'm just much of an optomist for my own good. I just want it to be good so badly and the special effects look so amazing I just start getting pumped for it. *shrugs*
There may be a chance of it being good, I'm sure Nickelodeon realizes that this series is one of their best and I'm sure they have a desire to make the film good so they can make more (I heard rumors of a trilogy?) And I'm not opposed to slightly switching up the races, but not the fire nation >3>;
But that's just me xD; As long as Nickelodeon and/or the original creators made sure to supervise it properly, it could definitely be a good movie
