Chapter 3: the spilled coffee

Yoochun was once again slacking off in his wide office, probably trying to get some reasons as to why he should stay for another five hours pressing his flat butt on the soft office chair. He sighed. This is one of the days he hated. The feeling of boredom growing inside his body in the most incredible speed Park Yoochun could ever think of. He placed his left leg over his right one on the top of his table as he run through some of the reports he has finished for the past days. He was always before deadline in a particular reason. The earlier he finished job, the earlier he gets to work out, especially the little Yoochun below. But since when has little Yoochun, the pride of the most famous bachelor in Seoul ever had weeks long of break? Yes, since he met that little dolphin duck as he noted, he’s never slept with any girls. He had plans though, but before the clock strikes for some action, he found himself unaroused, if there is ever such a work.

No matter how many times he calls or sends nonstop ‘friendly’ messages to Junsu, Junsu wouldn’t mind answering any. Even just a little coffee at the cheapest café was rejected by the younger boy, but even so, it is never Park Yoochun if he gives up that easily. He tried talking to himself in the mirror. He still has those little slit-eyes that tell him his fierce stare could melt a heart; the pointed nose in between his gorgeous cheekbone that forms whenever he strikes his thousands of million-watt smile that could kill. He is still as perfect as he could be but if Kim Junsu demands him to be even more perfect if possible, he’ll find a way. Yes, just for a cup of coffee from the young boy.

“Four approved projects worth gazillion. Wow, you’re working hard.” Jung Yunho said as he intruded Yoochun’s privacy.

“What are you doing here? Your office is down the hall. Go talk to your gorgeous lover. I’m not in the mood to talk bambi right now. I certainly don’t want to here you whine at how much workload I drop to your desk.” Yoochun sneered.

“I am his lover. He’s not mine… yet.” Yunho said as he walked towards the coffee-maker sitting quietly at the far corner of Yoochun’s gloomy, unchanged room. “And I think I have very little chance of improving.”

“I told you, I’m in no mood to be bambi. I should get you a bigger bambi tomorrow. Someone to keep you company and listens without any complains.”

“Dark or with milk?” Yunho asked.

“Dark.” Yoochun answered, piling up the papers in his desk and pushing a button on his desk phone. “Tiffany honey. You’re on to get the papers.” He said sexily.

“Your secretary should wear more, you know. The employees’ are being rude on her saying that she got the job just because she sleeps with you. Or even lets you do her during work hours.”

“Shut up Yunho. I’ll fire you if you say another word.” Yoochun glared.

Tiffany, who is just outside the door of Yoochun’s office, entered while swaying her curved hips. Yunho is right. She should wear some clothes. Yoochun could tell she’s freezing like hell in the aircon of his room. But no matter how Yoochun tells her to wear something more office-lady-like, she’ll just shrug it off and pout at the boss. She would never, ever in her life try to change her sexy fashion. She knew Yoochun couldn’t resist her. She just knew.

Bending down in front of Yoochun to get the pile of papers, she purposely pressed her fronts with her arms to give emphasis to her proud chest. “I’ll pile them up sir.” She said following a wink and a little wiggle on upper torso. “How about tonight?” She whispered.

“Yunho, you’ll help me do groceries tonight right? Changmin’s being lazy again.” Yoochun said totally ignoring the flirting his lovely secretary does.

“Yea, sure. I’m planning to shop off anyway. My house is damn empty.” Yunho said trying to hold back the crack of his voice that desired to let out a laugh.

“Sorry baby, maybe some other night? I’ll call you when I have time.” Yoochun said licking his lips.

“Okay… I’ll wait for that.” She said then finally leaving with a flip of her curly black hair.

“So… I’ve never heard of you working little Yoochun out for a couple of days. Having bladder problems my friend?” Yunho joked handing over the black coffee he made for Yoochun soon as the door clicked closed. “I know the best doctors in Seoul.”

Yoochun sat deeply onto his chair and heaved a deep sigh. Yunho was never wrong. Even though he doesn’t tell him, he’ll know just by a second of looking at Yoochun when he runs off at night to sleep with girls, some he doesn’t know the names. “That Kim Junsu boy is playing hard to get.” He let out. “A coffee won’t hurt anyway.”

“Maybe he’s afraid of you?” Yunho suggested.

“I am far more handsome than any monsters in your freaking Disney tales. That boy needs some eye-transplant.”

“Well, I asked Jaejoong about that guy. He only told me that Junsu is so much in love with soccer and video games. The young boy is a health-freak dude. He needs no coffee in his system.”

“But he drinks a hell lot of soju.”

“He only does that whenever his girlfriends break up with him. ”

“I should just fetch him today right? That way he won’t be able to try and run away from me?”

“Junsu hates stalker. He has a lot. I believe he’s pretty popular in school but he only dates popular girls.”

“So he’s an ass just like me?”

“No, he’s way better. I’m guessing he wanted popular girls for girlfriends. But he never plays with them. They were even the ones to break up with him. While you, first and foremost you never had, once in your life had a girlfriend, and just before they knew it, you’ve already thrown them away. You and Junsu are way different.” Yunho said. “You’re more like his evil side.”

“Aish, you’re not really helping me aren’t you?” Yoochun shrugged. “Get the fuck out of here.”

“It has only been a month and you’re drooling to get your hands on that boy? Wow. Where has the Seoul’s bachelor drove off to?” Yunho mocked with no sign of any intentions to leave his ‘boss’ office. “You like him don’t you?”

“I don’t know. Maybe?”

“Yes, you do Mr. and instead of trying to break your phone whenever he doesn’t reply to your messages back, why don’t you visit him in his school?”

“Changmin goes to the same school. I am not really sure if they know each other.” Yoochun said emptying his cup of coffee. He stood up and let his feet drag him to the percolator to fill another cup. It was never advisable for him to take too much coffee everyday. He’s never been a health freak. He loves the aroma of the smoking cigarette, the cutting sensation of the bitter alcohol, and the hot awesome feeling dark coffees send him. He’ll die before he knew it but whoever demands him to live a better lifestyle dies before him.

“Afraid that your brother might not want to admit you being gay? Come on, we know Changmin is better than that.”

“Well, I don’t know.”

It has been a whole month and just like any other days, Junsu felt even more relieved to break up with Taeyeon. He was walking at the corridor in the gym after a good warm bath to clean his soccer dirt when he saw her sitting on the coach’s lap making out in the dim corner of the pool. He sighed. One thing common about every single girl he has dated is all of them want nothing but get into his pants. It’s a very liberated university, and having girls go all slutty over a hot guy is nothing but normal.

Junsu began to be very popular when he first brought the school its victory on the national cup in a soccer match. He is hot; add up the plump behind the soccer team says his lucky charm. It all began that particular time at the victory party in the school when everyone is making out and Junsu stood beside his best friend Eunhyuk. They watched as they get on with their own business. “Congratulations.” Eunhyuk said. “But I know if not because of me passing the ball to you, you wouldn’t score that goal.”

“Like I need you to always do that for me? Everyone knows I am better than you, lizard!” Junsu smirked.

“Who are you calling lizard huh?” Eunhyuk said placing down his cup.

Junsu was yawning loudly with a wide mouth. Eunhyuk gave him a disgusted look. “Manners Kim Junsu. You’re embarrassing.”

“What? Me yawning as free as I could be? Then what’s more embarrassing than making out in public?” Junsu said pertaining to the whole crowd.

“Well, you’ve got a point. In the whole team, it’s only the two of us who are single.” Eunhyuk said.

“Well, I dated the cheerleader before she asks me to bed her.” Junsu said sounding a little bit disgusted at what he reminded himself. Yes, the first girlfriend he had back in sophomore days.

“What’s wrong with bedding a cheerleader. She’s hot you know. I would’ve jumped on her, if I were you.”

“I am not like you. If I am going to do it with anyone, I will choose the best time, best reasons, and best person.” Junsu scoffed. “And how would you jump on someone if you, yourself, can’t even have a girlfriend? You started that issue that I hate being contaminated by women while you doesn’t even bother touching a girl even in class.”

Junsu smiled as he remembered. He told Eunhyuk about hi plans if ever he is going to lose ‘it’. He walked off and admitted to himself that breaking up with Taeyeon is the best thing he has done. Ever since Eunhyuk bought himself a nice car, Junsu has been having a free lift from his best friend. Normally,Eunhyuk would say a lot of things before he lets Junsu borrow his things, but lately, Junsu realized Eunhyuk has been kinder than usual, only always late on appointments.

“Hi.” A female voice said as she stood beside Junsu. “You weren’t sitting on the chair beside me during philosophy class.” It was Heebon.

“Oh, Heebon’ssi. I- I’m sorry.” Junsu stuttered. He wanted to sit beside Heebon. But his usual seat, beside Changmin, has always been empty. Probably because Changmin can’t stand other people asking him stuff about their own homework.

Heebon laughed at how Junsu was obviously trying to find reasons. “I’m just kidding. You can sit wherever you want of course. I just hope to get my math notebook back though.”

“Oh, yes. I’m sorry. But I left it at home.” Junsu said. He purposely left it at home, safe in his study table. “I’ll bring it to you tomorrow. I’m sorry.” He bowed several times.

“Hey, it’s okay. I just want it tomorrow since exams are coming. And speaking of exams, do you want to study together?”

“Is it alright?”

“Yes of course. And you can drag Changmin’ssi along. He’ll be a great help. I see you two are very close friends.” Heebon smiled. “and I terribly wonder why the two of you doesn’t hang out publicly.”

“Oh that… well, Changmin said it will be okay if we don’t.”

“Your popularity might ruing his steady standing in the school?” Heebon guessed. “Oh, Eunhyuk is waiting for you.”

Junsu turned to see Eunhyuk parked his car. He looked back at Heebon before breathing a good amount of air. “How about a lunch together at five after exams?”

“Are you asking me for a date?” Heebon inquired.

“It could be that.” Junsu smiled slightly. “and I am pretty sure not to invite Changmin when we decide to study together.”

“That won’t be possible. I don’t want you devouring our innocent Heebon. Hurry. Your stupid husband is waiting for you.” Changmin said as he placed a book above Junsu’s head then walked pass him to gt into his own car. “Heebon’ssi, you shouldn’t talk for more than a second to him. Who knows what he might do.”

Heebon giggled.

“Aish!!! Shut up!” Junsu said as he took the book, the one he wasn’t able to get in the library this morning. “And thank you for the stupid book, stupid guy!” he shouted again.

“You two are really close. Go now. We’ll talk again tomorrow.” Heebon smiled and bowed.

“See you then.”

Eunhyuk was late. Always late whenever he is going to pick Junsu up. Simply because it takes him a good amount of time to freshen up, straighten his clothes, brush his hair, and spray perfume just so he’ll look very appealing to Junsu, who on the other hand doesn’t notice the change.

More to Eunhyuk’s despair to get his best friend’s attention, he saw him laughing and giggling and being all shy with Park Heebon. He is never in any single class Heebon is at, but Junsu is with her in philo. He knew that he should have taken philo but he thought Junsu would only tell him to at least get a single subject where he’s not in. they have been sticking together ever since childhood.

“Your mom called and she told me to bring you home.” Eunhyuk said as they drove off.

“Why does she always want to call you of any thing that concerns me? I have a phone too.” Junsu said.

“I don’t know. You know your mom could be a lot weirder every second. I think she wants you to help in the shop before your shift at the bar.”

“Oh,.” Junsu said.

“And was that Park Heebon you’re talking to a while ago?”

Junsu blushed.

“What? A moment ago, I watch as you flirt at her. You look pretty manly. And now I just ask you about her and you’re blushing like a teenage school girl. You’re so gay.”

“Shut up!” Junsu yelled. “I do not blush.”

“Oh yes you do.”

“Shut up!”

“duck.”

“lizard.”

Yoochun was parking his car. “A coffee shop again? Seriously, you shouldn’t drink tons of cups of coffee per day. You wouldn’t be able to get your hands to Junsu anymore.” Yunho joked as he stepped out of Yoochun’s car. “And more to it, you brought me to an ordinary coffee shop.”

“Why don’t you just shut up once in a while?” Yoochun said irritatedly as he locked his car.

“well, I was surprised to see this kind of you.” Yunho said as he entered the shop first.

Yoochun was nibbling at his phone’s keypad, texting his little dolphin duck still for a friendly cup of coffee. He was too absorbed to see a guy, in white clothes and red apron walking towards him. Just as Yoochun was unable to see him coming, the guy, holding a tray of coffee-filled cups, was unable to see him as well. They bumped into each other. Coffee stained Yoochun’s most expensive suit, and the cheap coffee cups settled scattered into pieces on the floor.

“I’m sorry. Iwasn’t looking. I’m sorry.” A familiar voice said as he bowed several times.

“It’s okay. I wasn’t looking as well.” Yoochun replied as he bends down to gather the shattered glass.

That voice.

Junsu was looking around to find the table where he’s going to deliver the cup his mother gave him. They own a coffee shop and his mother is too lazy to hire several workers. She only has few and always asks her son to help out. As Junsu was busy looking around he didn’t saw the guy in front of him. They bumped. The guys apologized. That voice. Junsu looked at the man he bumped, and all he wanted to do is for hell to eat him up. Park Yoochun.

Yoochun finished gathering the pieces and placed it on a tray before standing up again. Yunho stood and watched in amusement. Yoochun will never help a clumsy waiter. He’ll break his bones. That was the most expensive suit and it was spilled by a cup of coffee. Yoochun stood in amazement as soon as he saw who he bumped into. Kim Junsu.

“OMO!” Mrs. Kim shrieked. “Yoochun’ssi. I’m sorry. I’ll pay for your suit.” She said as she bowed a couple more times. “JUNSU! Go bring him to your room. Let him borrow your clothes for a while.” She turned to Junsu. “Oh no, Yoochun, let me get that. You go to my son’s room first to change. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” Mrs. Kim kept on apologizing as she took the tray out of Yoochun’s hand. “JUNSU!” Mrs. Kim shouted.

“a… y-yes.” Junsu said as he took a step to the door that leads to their house. “This way… s-sir.”

Yoochun smirked as he turned to look at his friend who was grinning ear-to-ear at him.

“Lucky bastard.” Yunho mouthed.

Junsu was looking through his clothes with uneasiness. Knowing that Park Yoochun was standing in his room.

Yoochun admired the neatness of Junsu’s room. There were a lot of CD collections at one corner. Yoochun loves CDs. Then there were a pile of video games next to it and a very fluffy neat bed. Beside a bed were tons of stuff toys. There are more of it than the CD and video games together.

“How old are you?” Yoochun said as he picked up a dolphin flush. He smiled.

“I’m 20.” Junsu said. “Why?”

“Well, I don’t remember myself liking stuff toys in my 20’s. I’m 26 now.”

“The hell I care?” Junsu said as he threw a piece of shirt to the man. “I’m gonna like what I want to like and I don’t like you, chicken! Now go get dressed already and leave.

“Yah! What’s with the attitude? You spilled a coffee to me. You should be nice.” Yoochun said stripping his clothes.

“Just hurry up.” Junsu said as he looked elsewhere while Yoochun was taking his upper clothes off.

Seconds passed and Yoochun is shirtless. Junsu was sitting on the bed not minding the older guy. “Oh… s-shit.” Yoochun mumbled as he stepped onto a piece of toy laying freely on the ground. Just a while ago, he was trying to figure out how to wear that silly thing Junsu gave him, the next thing he knew, he tripped on a toy, lost balance and fell over to Junsu.

In bed, with shirtless Yoochun above the flustered young man. Their time stopped as they stared in each other’s eyes. Yoochun gulped as he saw Junsu’s surprised face, mouth slightly open, one hand beside his head the other below Yoochun’s hand… pressed on the big fluffy bed.

It was a critical position. And just like Yoochun has always dreamt, he was leaning in slowly… further closer.

Junsu was too surprised. Yoochun has small beautiful eyes. Milky white skin. And very appealing scent. He was too absorbed at Yoochun’s charisma that he didn’t notice Yoochun leaning closer… closer… closer…

“OMO!” Mrs. Kim shrieked as she stood by the doorway, both hands over her mouth, eyes widened as she saw her own son under her favorite costumer, who was shirtless.
