wednesday: first alice rehearsal. it went alright. i had my fitting beforehand, so i saw the sketch for my costume. it looks pretty sweet, and i'm pretty excited. we got to play with the tea party props a little bit, and they're awesome. we did the scene several times, but i'm having trouble coming up with something crazy enough for the mad hatter. i'll get there, i just need to get myself into a wacky enough mood first. also, the beginning of gift 4 u. too much to explain to anyone who might actually read this and not know. but it's fun and funny.

thursday: lizz's birthday, so we decorated the common room while she was at philosophy club. there's a crepe paper happy birthday banner around the walls and we hung up a sign that i happened to bring that says "aged to perfection" liz is a genius and taped up an i and an e so it looks like "aged to pierefection" which is hilarious. we watched the office and waited for lizz to come home, but she was hanging out with philosophy club people? so she was out really late. still, she came home and we celebrated and it was fantastic. major suite and quad bonding, especially with gift 4 u and a couple of people visiting around when lizz got home.

friday: i didn't do any work for american lit or 170, and we were up really late thursday night, so i woke up feeling pretty poopy. so i skipped class and went back to sleep for a couple of hours. it was the right choice. decided to hit up music staff in the afternoon, instead of cothurnus. the right choice. i picked up a couple of cds, but someone has them by accident, so. oh well. anyway, a guy from guilderland mentioned that larkfest was going on this weekend and wanted to know if anyone with a car was interested. he said matt and kim would be there, so. obviously, it was decided that i needed to go home for that. but it was wreckourselves weekend, so i talked myself into getting wrecked anyway.

we played kings with the suite next to us. it was really fun. then almost all of us went up to mia's and then went to the ib. i danced with mike the entire time and i don't, i guess we were flirty. nothing happened or anything, but. anyway, i went to bed around three, slept for maybe half an hour, then was up. until saturday night.

around five twenty, decided i was not going to get any sleep, took a shower, and around six was out picking up curt and joe and driving to albany for lark fest. curt had to drive the last half hour, so i got a little nap in there, and then we were at lark fest from ten to five thirty ish. it was incredible. we spent pretty much the entire day at the b3nson stage (b3nson is a local recording company, so the bands were all local). they were all incredible. way more fun than anything else would have been, and i really loved the music, so i grabbed a compilation cd and can't stop listening to it. then matt and kim were at four, so i headed over to that stage and got right up to the side of the stage, next to the speakers. but i wasn't with anyone i knew and thought i might go deaf, so. for as awesome as it was to be so close and everything, i headed back in the crowd and found that guy from shea's birthday who reminds me of jonah hill. he's kind of an asshole, but it was slightly less awkward than standing alone, i guess. anyway, i think i might go see them again in a couple of weeks (buffalo) with people (if i can get anyone) so it can be more fun and not have obnoxious hipsters pretending they're not two feet taller than me and acting like i have no right to stand in front of them.

went home and pretended to be jewy. ate a good meal. we had a fire. i saw my poppy and my cats and had a decent night's sleep.

then we were up and out of the capital region by nine thirty and i was back in erie by one.

i've been being lazy all day.
i probably have a ton of work, but i can't bring myself to care, really.
oh well?

anyway, with the whole boy thing. he's nice and all, but he's best friends with his ex-girlfriend and i think the ex part is recent. i have a feeling he's not thinking serious and neither am i, so i don't really care. to say it fewer words than i should, he's not really my type. i liked dancing with him and i like flirting with him and i would probably like hooking up with him, but i'm pretty sure we'd be at a loss for any legitimate conversation. i would need a weirder boy to be serious. or less generic or something, you know? and for sam, no, not peepoo, he's too weird or too something and i honestly don't see that happening.

in short:
i am in love with music, so it's a good thing i do radio.
matt and kim are great.
b3nson bands are spectacular.
