Nobody's perfect. (I've gotta work it...)

__BASICS:
- Given name: I'd rather not say.
- Favorite nickname: Mindstrel, Mar-mar
- Age: mid-to-late teens
- Appearance: dark brown hair in a bob; black, wire-framed glasses; medium build

__DESCRIBE YOURSELF:
- Mature/Immature for your age?: I'd say I'm fairly mature as far as meticulous academic planning and lack of stage fright are concerned. Unfortunately, I'm about as experienced as the average toddler when it comes to social matters.
- Hobbies & interests: Short: MUSIC. MUSIC AND SCIENCE. Long: I'm a percussionist/pianist/HIGHLY reluctant clarinetist with subscriptions to Scientific American and Wired. I also love animation (GO TEAM VENTURE!) and video games, despite my controller-eye coordination being somewhat...lacking.
- Favorite thing about yourself: ability to pull good grades (knock on wood)
- The one thing you'd change: tendency to get tongue-tied whenever it would be really sweet to have a quip handy
- One quality you wish you had: Quite honestly? Having a quip ready in any situation.
- What's something unique or special about you?: I have a great musical ear, which almost-but-not-quite makes up for the fact that I'm terrible at sight-reading.
- Your greatest hope: Being a published writer or musician.
- Your worst fear: On a large scale? Nuclear warfare. On a small one, I'd have to say fire. I'm not even kidding, I've been terrified of my house burning down since my school had its first fire drill. (Asphyxiation and head trauma are tied for second. )
- Thing you want most: a sweet hat You know, I'm really not sure. I guess world happiness, or something fairly warm and fuzzy like that. It would be nice if humans as a species figured out to live without destroying the environment. Just a thought.
- One thing you love (& why): Coconut popsicles. They are not only fairly difficult to find without dairy, they're completely and totally delicious.
- One thing you hate (& why): Scientific mistakes on TV. For a while, my mantra was, "If a kid with a middle-school education can tell there's something wrong here, there's definitely something wrong here."

__ZODIAC (& DOES IT FIT YOU?):
- Western: Virgo: I'm in full support of the "analytical, witty, perfectionist" half of it. The "conventional, reserved" half, less so.
- Chinese: Monkey: "Inventors, plotters, entertainers and creative geniuses"? Sounds fine by me!

__FAVORITES (& WHY):
- Color: Green. No, purple! No-no-no, silver! Wait, let me try again. (This answer is sounding too much like cyborg-Barney for my liking.)
- Quote/lyric: " I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity." -Edgar Allen Poe
"This is why we can't have nice things." -I have no idea
- Word: Automaton and archipelago

__IF (& WHY):
- If you could be an animal, which would it be?: Parrot. Flight and nearly-human intelligence? Sign me up!
- If you could choose any profession (regardless of whether or not you actually have any talent for it), which would it be?: Sci-fi writer. (If I can be humorous without sounding like I'm ripping off Douglas Adams, that would be a nice bonus.)
- If you could choose, would you reside in the realm of Darkness, Light, or Nothingness? Why?: Light, probably. Darkness strikes me as a place full of unnecessary angst (and possibly Hot Topic). Nothingness just seems like it'd get old after a while. Nothing much to do, you see.

__MISCELLANEOUS:
- You come across a few defenseless people being attacked by Heartless. What do you do?: Call for help. Knowing my--ahem--physical limitations, I'd probably get my heart torn out before you could say, "Hey, lookit that cute little black thing!"
- You are attacked by Heartless. Is your will strong enough to create a Nobody?: Hopefully, my fear of death'd do its thing and land me an unfortunate second life as one of the Organization's mindless cronies. ...Fun.
- Which member of Organization XIII could you see yourself as? (& why): Honestly, I'd see myself as Vexen. I'm my group of friends' resident stuck-up academic with an intolerable ego, and I'm really not much of a fighter.

- How did you find this community?: I was browsing people's profiles, and I spotted a picture that said, "I was stamped as _____."
- Anything else you'd like to say?: Oingo Boingo is one of the coolest bands in existence. (Well, non-existence, given that they broke up in the nineties. Ah, well. Que sera, sera.)
