yeah yeah i know its been months..but im lazyjawsisstuckMarch 5 2008, 00:52:45 UTC
i gotta say i really enjoyed the movie.
I don't think the movies intent was to scare you..but to bring you somewhere you havnt been in a monster movie..the fleeing crowd.
unlike most monster movies this didnt not focus on scientists, governments or the what nots. it showed the focal point of the terrified mass just trying to make sense of it all, lost and confused.
from here we get a feeling of simply being so minute in a world where the human race reigns supreme. the grand meca of civilization burns and yet they still dont succeed(the fall of the American Empire perhaps?)
while the camera got pretty dissorentating at times..it did help progress the movie..it made it feel real and your caught in the middle. I think the film would have lost the point it was trying to make if it was clean cut and not 'archive footage.'
